Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE) is seeking an Accountant for our French operations in Lyon. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and focuses on accounting and tax across a growing network of veterinary clinics.

You will work with clinic leaders, finance colleagues and external auditors to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements and support MVHE's expanding European footprint within the AniCura network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years accounting and financial reporting experience in SSC or large international organisation.
• Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and advanced Excel.
• Fluent French required; English and US/FR GAAP knowledge advantageous.
• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance.

The team

You will join the Finance Shared Service Centre within Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE), supporting our French operations and wider AniCura Group network. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will collaborate with market operations, clinic teams, finance colleagues, external auditors and shared service partners. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement are key to supporting our growth across Europe.

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years' accounting and financial reporting experience gained within a Shared Service Centre, large international organisation and/or audit environment.


• Experience working with Oracle ERP systems


• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel capabilities


• Fluent French language skills are essential; knowledge of English and US/FR GAAP would be advantageous


• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
