FR_0107 EES - FERROVIAIRES is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Sweden. The role involves daily accounting tasks, assisting with monthly closings, and supporting tax compliance within our Marine & Offshore Division.

The candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in Scandinavia, with knowledge of Swedish GAAP and fluency in English. The position offers a permanent contract, competitive salary, and career growth opportunities.

Position Overview

We are recruiting an Accountant to reinforce our local finance team in Sweden, working under the supervision of the Chief Accountant within the Finance Department of the Marine & Offshore Division.

The STEGRA project, located in Boden, Sweden, involves the construction of a green steel mill and an electrolysis plant powered by renewable electricity and water from the Lule River. The goal is to produce 5 million tonnes of high‑quality green steel by 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries and manage supplier and customer accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly closings.
• Support tax declarations and compliance with local requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and follow up on payment schedules.
• Provide support to project teams regarding cost tracking.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Proven professional background in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, or Finland) with full knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations.
• Knowledge of Swedish GAAP and tax procedures.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a strong asset.
• Organised, reliable, and able to work in a team.
