The Account Specialist, plays a key role in supporting the sales and account management teams across the Bankers Almanac portfolio. The successful candidate will help customers derive maximum value from LexisNexis Risk Solutions' trusted payments and banking reference data solutions, supporting activities across onboarding, implementation, renewals, account administration, and customer success.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Support, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams, the Account Specialist will ensure a seamless customer experience and help drive customer retention and growth across financial institutions, corporates, fintechs, and payment service providers.
Act as a primary point of contact for administrative and operational support across the Bankers Almanac customer base.
Support customer onboarding and implementation activities for Bankers Almanac solutions, ensuring successful adoption and timely delivery.
Coordinate customer requests relating to product access, data delivery, contract administration, billing, invoicing, and service queries.
Partner with Sales and Account Managers to support renewals, upsell opportunities, and customer retention initiatives.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure service expectations are met.
Monitor customer activity and proactively identify opportunities to improve engagement and customer outcomes.
Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM systems.
Support customer communications relating to product enhancements, data updates, and service changes.
Assist with preparing account reviews, customer reporting, and commercial documentation.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the customer experience.
Experience in customer success, account support, sales support, account management, or client services, preferably within financial services, payments, fintech, or data services.
Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, including onboarding, implementation, and renewals.
Fluent in English.
A second European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, or another European language) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
Highly detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
Interest in banking, payments, financial crime compliance, reference data, and financial institutions is advantageous.
Exposure to banking and payments ecosystems, including correspondent banking, payment operations, SWIFT, routing data, or reference data services.
Experience supporting customers that utilise financial data, compliance, or risk management solutions.
Understanding of the challenges banks, corporates, and payment providers face in maintaining accurate payment routing and reference data.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
The ability to build trusted relationships with both customers and internal teams.

The total target cash range is €46,300 - €77,300.
