A leading FinTech company in France is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and manage key customer relationships. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the FinTech or ERP sectors, and a strong understanding of the VAT landscape. This role requires fluency in French and English, along with exceptional sales and consultative skills, to engage mid-market and enterprise clients effectively. The office is based in France with travel expectations across EMEA.

  • Strong knowledge of France and EU indirect tax/VAT compliance requirements.
  • Experience engaging with ERP ecosystems.

Marosa is a leading FinTech company, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful software solutions.

We’re looking for a motivated, strategic Sales Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in France. This role is critical to Marosa’s growth and will focus on selling our core VAT Compliance Services and SaaS solutions to mid‑market and enterprise clients. You will own a portfolio of key customers, identify and execute on expansion opportunities, lead the full sales cycle for new logos, work closely with Marketing and Partner teams to drive pipeline, and act as a trusted advisor to finance and tax stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers in France and EMEA, driving renewals, upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Drive new customer acquisition across mid‑market and enterprise segments in France and EMEA.
  • Own the full sales cycle for both existing‑account expansion and new‑logo deals, from prospecting and qualification through discovery, demo, negotiation and close.
  • Use a consultative, solution‑oriented sales approach tailored to each client’s finance, compliance, and operations needs.
  • Build and execute structured account plans and a territory plan aligned with Marosa’s broader EMEA strategy and revenue targets.
  • Develop strong, multi‑threaded relationships with key stakeholders (tax, finance, IT, procurement and senior leadership) within your accounts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high adoption and measurable value realisation for your customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and support region‑specific campaigns that generate qualified leads, support account‑based initiatives and increase market visibility.
  • Work with Partner Management to identify and activate channel opportunities and referral sources across France and wider EMEA.
  • Monitor French and EU VAT and e‑invoicing / digital reporting trends to position Marosa as a trusted partner to your accounts and prospects.
  • Provide regular pipeline, forecast and account health updates; capture customer feedback to help shape product and go‑to‑market priorities.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B account management and / or sales experience in FinTech, ERP, or tax / finance technology, with a track record of both managing existing customers and winning new logos.
  • Strong knowledge of the France and EU indirect tax / VAT landscape and compliance requirements.
  • Experience engaging with or selling into ERP ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Native or fluent French and excellent written and spoken English; strong prospecting (email, phone, social), presentation, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience working with mid‑market and enterprise customers in France; comfortable engaging senior finance and tax stakeholders.
  • Based in France or legally entitled to work in France, and available for regular travel within France and EMEA.

  • Existing relationships with channel partners, tax advisory firms or ERP integrators in Franceor wider EMEA.
  • Additional European languages.
