Job summary

L’Oréal Groupe in Île-de-France Chevilly-Larue offers a 6-month internship starting January 2027 in Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering. Master’s Year 1 or 2 students will join a dynamic team to contribute to automation and data acquisition projects, with a monthly gross salary of €1,700.

Your responsibilities

1. Understand testing needs and measurement principles: Define measurement requirements, review existing techniques and identify the main constraints involved in future automation.
2. Select and design system components: Choose suitable sensors, actuators and data acquisition systems, and design custom fixtures or mechanical components where needed.
3. Build and optimize the experimental setup: Assemble and integrate the components into a functional prototype, develop test protocols and optimize experimental parameters.
4. Conduct tests and assess performance: Evaluate the reliability, repeatability and reproducibility of measurements, analyze the results and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Document and communicate your findings: Prepare technical documentation, present your results to relevant stakeholders and recommend next steps toward automation and large-scale data acquisition.

Your profile

You are pursuing a Master’s degree (Year 1 or 2) at an engineering school or university and are seeking a gap-year or final-year internship, with a specialization in mechatronics or robotics. You are fluent in English and French. You have excellent Excel skills. You are interested in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. You enjoy data analysis.
