Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Faber AI is seeking a software engineer to build and evolve a 3D product platform at Station F, Paris. You will own the product with a focus on the 3D viewer and geometry interactions, collaborating with an AI engineer for the agent harness.
You will help shape and extend the architecture to scale with customer demand. Requirements include 2–5 years of software engineering experience in 3D engineering software and fluent English; French is a strong plus.
Our mission: bring the development of physical products from years to weeks.
Faber is building the Agentic Engineering Platform, designed to make mechanical engineers 10× more productive. By taking on the repetitive, tool-heavy work that stands between an idea and a manufactured part, Faber allows engineers to focus on judgment and innovation rather than operating complex, disconnected interfaces.
We work hand in hand with our industrial partners to build agentic solutions for their own needs, deploying and developing our product at the same time. Every project feeds the same product, which we are building to be used at scale, by any engineer in any company.
Our ambition is to become Europe’s reference in agentic engineering, both as the company that builds the software and as the partner that deploys it at manufacturers.
We have just raised a multi-million-euro pre-seed round from major European VC funds. We already work with major industrial players in automotive, aerospace and jewelry, and thousands of users are on our public beta.
Faber was founded by three AI engineers from École polytechnique and an industrialist who spent ten years running a watch brand and a micro-precision machining company. We are currently based at Station F in Paris.

Our business is built around one product. Our forward deployed engineers (FDEs) deploy it at each industrial partner, and we make it richer by building the new features each customer needs. The team is organized around two engines to match: the Deployment team, with the FDEs, takes the product to our partners, and the Product team builds the product itself.
In the Product team, you own the software, with a focus on 3D and the interface, alongside an AI engineer who focuses on the agent harness. You will also work on the harness, especially on performance and optimization. You report to our CTO, who oversees both Product and Deployment.
As a software engineer, you build the product, and you also shape it: you turn scattered use cases into one coherent product. Every new deployment brings a need. You decide whether existing pieces cover it, whether it calls for an extension, or whether it becomes a new building block of the product. The outcome we expect is software that gets richer with every project and that, in five years, any manufacturer can buy off the shelf.
We are not building another CAD package. What a tool for an engineer working with an agent should look like is still an open question, and you will be part of the team that decides it.
We are looking for a software engineer who has already built and run a 3D product, and who now wants to shape one from the ground up.
Must-have: 2–5 years of software engineering experience, including work on 3D engineering software (CAD, CAM, simulation, or the geometry and visualization layers behind them). Fluent English.
Speaking French is a strong plus, since our early customers are French.
Nice to have, not required: a background in mechanical engineering, a passion for CAD or machining (you model parts or run a CNC on weekends), and experience with three.js/WebGL or a geometry kernel such as OpenCascade.
