Job summary

We are looking for a motivated and reliable **Waitress / Kitchen Helper** to join our sushi restaurant in Tampere.

Our restaurant serves à la carte sushi, all-you-can-eat sushi and fusion-style sushi. The position involves both customer service and kitchen-support duties, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in different areas of the restaurant.

Main duties

• Customer service and serving customers
• Taking customer orders
• Serving food and drinks
• Preparing and maintaining the dining and buffet areas
• Refilling and maintaining the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet
• Packing takeaway and delivery orders
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and restaurant areas
• Basic food and ingredient preparation
• Preparing vegetables and other ingredients
• Assisting sushi chefs and other kitchen staff
• Restocking ingredients and supplies
• Following food‑safety and hygiene procedures
• Performing other normal restaurant and kitchen-support duties

The employee must be able to move between customer-service and kitchen duties according to the needs of the restaurant. The work can be fast‑paced, particularly during lunch, dinner and weekend service.
