Job summary

Sokotel Oy in Tampere is seeking a part-time waiter for the Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere, for a fixed-term contract 14.9.2026–12.9.2027, 75 hours every 3 weeks. You will support banquet and event service, handle large-scale operations, and deliver outstanding customer care in a fast-paced events environment.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, hygiene and serving license, Finnish language skills (additional languages a plus) and a proactive, sales-minded attitude. Apply by 24.8.2026.

Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere is inviting a part-time waiter for the Paja Kongressikeskus venue in Tampere, in a fixed-term contract from 14 September 2026 to 12 September 2027, at 75 hours every 3 weeks. You are a strong hospitality professional with experience in event ordering and banquet service. You manage large-scale operations and thrive in a fast-paced events environment. You are inspiring, sales-minded and bold in customer service, not afraid to perform. High-quality customer service is your heart. With your positive attitude and professionalism you ensure the success of occasions and satisfaction of organizers and participants.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

Imaginative and fearless attitude, excellent organizational skills in a versatile environment, customer-oriented creativity and solution-focused mindset, previous experience as a meeting and order waiter is a plus, hygiene and serving license, Finnish language skills with other languages an advantage.

Employment is temporary 14.9.2026–12.9.2027 and part-time 75h/3w.
