Job summary

BCG Platinion in Helsinki is offering a 6-week Visiting Associate internship in spring or fall 2027. You will join a team handling IT challenges for global clients, focusing on digitalization solutions using cloud, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.

You will support IT architecture and project content development, prepare and follow-up client meetings, and interact with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an MSc in economics, management engineering, computer science, informatics or comparable degree during the internship period.
Strong IT know-how (e.g. IT project management, software development, IT service processes) and a first practical internship in IT; advisory or service-related experience is a plus.
Established deep knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
Hands-on experience with LLMs and other generative AI tools and how to apply them across daily tasks.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
Customer- and results-oriented mindset.
Comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts.
Excellent at communicating complex topics in English.

Responsibilities

Support our team with IT processes, value chains and architectures analysis and optimization.
Develop IT-related project content independently by analyzing relevant data.
Prepare and follow-up customer meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
