Who has rich practical experience of manufacturing designs in an industrial context and strong interest in educating future designers.
Your role and goals
In this position,youareresponsible foreducating students in turning design concepts into such prototypes that can be industrially manufactured with both mature and emerging technologies, including
Manufacturing techniques relevant to product design (such asthe design and mechanical engineering of an injection-moulded plastic product to be ready for production)
CAD and CAM software in an industrial context
Basics of prototyping including model making
In addition to teaching, dutiestypicallyincludeparticipatingin the development of teaching,designactivitiesand researchat the Department of Design. You willparticipatein the guidance and assessment of student assignments and thesesandtake part intheintake of new studentswhen needed.
