Job summary

Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijakunta Tamko seeks a Tutor and Internationalisation Specialist to support TAMK’s student tutoring and international activities. The role combines coordination, training, and student services at a university of applied sciences.

The successful candidate will prepare orientation days, engage with working groups and stakeholders, and may work remotely about once a week. The position is permanent with a starting gross salary of 2,200 €/month.

Responsibilities

Are you interested in developing tutoring and internationalisation at TAMK? Join us as a Tutor and Internationalisation Specialist. Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijakunta Tamko (Tamko) represents over 10,000 students and operates with a small staff and a student council. We are currently seeking a new Tutor and Internationalisation Specialist. This permanent position starts by agreement during the spring.

The successful candidate will coordinate TAMK’s student tutoring activities, organise tutor trainings, design and implement orientation days for new students, and participate in TAMK working groups and stakeholder engagement. A portion of the role includes student services. The role can be developed based on your interests. The gross starting salary is 2200 €/month plus TES-based allowances. A four-month probation period applies. Tamko follows the collective agreement for student unions of universities of applied sciences.

The Tamko office is located at TAMK main campus (Kuntokatu 3, Tampere). Working hours are 37.5 h/week, generally 8:00–17:00, with occasional evening and weekend work. Some work can be done remotely about once a week.
