Job summary

H&MV Engineering in Finland is looking for a Turnover Engineer to support various high-voltage electrical projects across Europe. The role involves managing quality control processes, collaborating with teams, and ensuring project documentation is complete. Ideal candidates will be fluent in English, knowledgeable in electrical systems, and familiar with project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • Develop project-specific ITP’s in line with project requirements.
  • Review and comment on project-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Develop and implement a structured QCx plan.
  • Manage and coordinate QCx packages, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Carry out inspections and audits of projects to ensure the turnover process is followed.
  • Maintain turnover logs and status reports to communicate progress.

Skills

Familiar with the use of BIM360 / ACC project management platforms
Understanding of L1 to L5 Datacentre QCx Process
Good knowledge of Electrical installation of HV & LV Systems
Fluent in spoken and written English
Knowledge of additional languages (German, Dutch, Norwegian)

Key responsibilities
  • To conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • Develop project specific ITP’s in line with project requirements.
  • Review and comment on project specific QA/QC plans.
  • Review and comment on project specific Cx plans.
  • Develop and implement a structured QCx plan, including systems and subsystems division.
  • Buildout project specific digital turnover packs utilizing approved checklist and test record templates
  • Control administration privileges to digital turnover platforms for site based personnel.
  • Raise any design, build sequence or commission sequence concerns observed while developing the QCx plan at any other stage of the project sequence with relevant team members.
  • Train and mentor site team members and subcontractors in project specific turnover process.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, quality assurance, commissioning teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment on turnover requirements and milestones.
  • Manage and coordinate QCx packages, ensuring all documentation, punch lists, quality and test records are complete/ accurate.
  • Carry out inspection and audits of projects to ensure the turnover process is being followed.
  • Ensure all turnover documentation, including inspection records, test results, and punch list items, are properly compiled, reviewed, and approved.
  • Drive the resolution of punch list items to ensure readiness for system handover.
  • Maintain turnover logs, status reports, and dashboards to communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Attend and contribute to daily, weekly and monthly coordination / progress meetings.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly project turnover status updates to the project, operations, quality and commissioning teams.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly project turnover status updates to the client teams.
  • Assist with audit preparation and support.
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information in line with legal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Familiar with the use of BIM360 / ACC project management platforms, as well as Cx Alloy Platform
  • Understanding of L1 to L5 Datacentre QCx Process
  • Good knowledge of Electrical installation of HV & LV Systems
  • Fluent on both spoken and written English, C level, any other language like German, Dutch or Norwegian would be a nice to have
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
