We are looking for a THT specialist to work with medical device lifecycle management in Savonlinna, Finland, on a permanent basis. Your daily tasks will consist largely of maintenance, repair, measurement and documentation work for medical devices or organizing these tasks. A key element of the role is collaboration with healthcare professionals and suppliers. You will play a central part in creating a safer device environment for both healthcare professionals and patients, supporting healthcare professionals as part of a skilled team of technology safeguards. To succeed you need: suitable technical education or relevant experience (electronics, information technology, electrical or automation engineering); ICT skills and documentation capabilities; good teamwork and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and prioritise; self-direction and solution-oriented thinking; good spoken and written English.
Travel will be required mainly in the Eastern and Southern Savonia region, and you must have driving license category B.
Knowledge of telecommunications and networks, information security, and occupational/safety regulations is an advantage.
The role includes a basic security check and a drug test.
Location: Savonlinna.
Salary range: 2600–3450 €/month, final salary based on skills and experience.
The position belongs to KT’s public-sector employee benefits package, including shorter regular working hours (36.25 h/wk) and generous holiday entitlement (up to 38 weekdays per year).
