Job summary

Insinööritoimisto Comatec Oy is seeking a Test Engineer for a permanent position in Hamina. The role focuses on hands-on testing hardware, coordinating testing work, and ensuring progress in mechanical and electrical tests within maritime development projects.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree (ME/DI) in mechanics, hydraulics or electrical engineering, with hands-on talent and strong collaboration skills.

Job description

Are you interested in practical work in testing environments, technical solutions and the maritime industry? We are seeking a person for a permanent position in Hamina as a Test Engineer who enjoys technical challenges and wants to ensure smooth operation of the testing scope.

Your responsibilities will include handling the testing hardware, coordinating testing work and ensuring progress, conducting mechanical and electrical testing, designing, documenting and reporting test scenarios, participating in commissioning and developing testing environments, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

What we expect from you: an engineering (ME/DE) degree in mechanics, hydraulics or electrical engineering; understanding of testing environments, commissioning or operation of technical equipment; willingness for hands‑on work and holistic management; proactive, courageous and solution‑oriented approach; good organizational and collaboration skills; fluent Finnish and ability to work in an English‑speaking environment; willingness to work on site in Hamina.

The salary range is 3500–4500 €/month. Final salary will be based on candidate’s skills and experience.
