Job summary

Google Inc. in Hamina, Finland is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Delivery to lead capital construction projects from ground-up through commissioning.

This role requires a strong background in construction management, five years of project leadership, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams across the company. The job involves planning requirements, identifying risks, managing schedules, and communicating with executives and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of capital construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering infrastructure from ground-up through commissioning.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers or critical facilities (power/cooling, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications.
• Determine phasing and metrics for program lifecycle, addressing continuous improvement and resource stewardship.
• Determine and collect data required to govern programs and drive stakeholder decision-making.
• Anticipate change management requirements for program stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders and senior cross-functional leads.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience managing capital construction projects.


• 5 years of experience managing capital construction projects.


• Experience delivering infrastructure (hyperscale data centers, semiconductor fabs, pharmaceutical facilities, or critical power/cooling plants) from the ground-up through commissioning.

Preferred qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP), CCM (Certified Construction Manager).


• Experience building, onboarding, or mentoring technical project teams (field engineers, cost managers, technical writers, document controllers), especially in high-growth environments.


• Experience managing multi-building campus developments, master planning, or multi-contractor ecosystems.
