Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an AI Architect to shape the core intelligence of our AI solutions. You will define production‑grade AI architectures, from agentic frameworks to RAG pipelines and MLOps foundations, ensuring scalable, secure, and explainable systems for real-world use.

You will lead technical directions, guide customers and engineering teams, and coordinate with the European AI Sales and Solutions team to drive impactful AI delivery across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecting AI/ML solutions end-to-end.
• Expertise in Agentic Frameworks, Agentic Orchestration, and RAG pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI principles including governance, transparency, and security.
• Hands-on knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

Your Role & Impact

As an AI Architect, you will own the AI architecture layer within client solutions. You will define how intelligence is implemented, orchestrated, and operationalized across use cases. Acting as a technical authority, you will guide customers, partners, and engineering teams in adopting modern AI architecture paradigms and translating them into demonstrable, production‑ready solutions. You will be part of a European AI Sales and Solutions team that drives new business for TCS in AI space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define AI architectures, covering model strategies, agentic frameworks, RAG pipelines, orchestration layers, and MLOps foundations
• Lead AI‑focused customer presentations, technical deep‑dives, and architecture discussions
• Introduce and apply new AI architecture paradigms (both TCS PoVs and Market relevant PoVs) to solve customer problems, including advances in Agentic AI, orchestration patterns, and responsible AI practices
• Position TCS AI offerings in proactive proposals and RFPs strategically.
• Co‑create and build AI solutions with strategic partners, integrating AI platforms, models, and tooling into cohesive systems
• Guide and mentor technical teams who build rapid demos and prototypes for customer presentations providing architectural direction and ensuring alignment with target AI designs
• Drive demo outcomes, ensuring rapid prototypes reflect scalable, secure, and production‑ready AI architectures

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate

You combine deep technical expertise in AI/ML systems with the ability to design and explain complex architectures. You are comfortable acting as a technical leader, shaping both engineering decisions and customer understanding.

In addition, you bring:

• Strong experience in architecting AI/ML solutions end‑to‑end
• Expertise in Agentic Frameworks, Agentic Orchestration, and RAG pipelines
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI principles, including governance, transparency, and security
• Hands‑on knowledge of MLOps, covering model lifecycle management, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• The ability to communicate AI architecture choices clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to guide teams toward high‑quality AI delivery
• Experience in Technology Stack: You do not need experience with all technologies listed below. These examples highlight the types of AI‑centric platforms, frameworks, and tooling commonly used in modern AI architectures and it would be good to have a broad understanding of these platforms and deep expertise in few of these.
• Agentic Frameworks & Orchestration: Agent frameworks (e.g. n8n, LangChain etc. ), workflow orchestration engines, multi‑agent coordination patterns
• RAG & Knowledge Systems: Vector databases, embeddings frameworks, semantic search, document processing pipelines
• MLOps: Model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML, monitoring, evaluation, and model governance tools
• Data for AI: Feature stores, training data pipelines, real‑time and batch data integration
• Responsible AI Tooling: Explainability, bias detection, model governance and audit tooling
