Overview

Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity? As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for personnel for several teams which today consist of about 20-35 employees and consultants in total. You are responsible for capacity management for several product teams and for ensuring deliveries in accordance with the plans and goals set up for the unit.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop multiple agile development teams from various offices, with about 20-35 members in the Payments business unit. You work closely with two other Team Managers within the Payments & Cards business area.
  • Capacity management and recruitment, ensuring resources and competence for your teams
  • Coach staff, fostering engagement and motivation to unlock your team's full potential.
  • Drive change management initiatives and refine workflows within the teams.
  • Ensure deliveries by conducting analysis of time allocation, taking corrective actions to secure successful delivery and drive efficiency initiatives for optimized work output.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to achieve the team's goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews, handle competence development for team members, and hold continuous action-oriented discussions.
  • Set and monitor goals at both the team and individual levels.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading teams of 15+ people and skills in managing priorities effectively.
  • Business-oriented with a focus on quality and goal monitoring.
  • Strong ability to foster engagement and build networks.
  • As a person, you are structured, take responsibility easily, and are curious and social.
  • Passion for coaching and developing teams.
  • Experience in cost management and driving efficiency initiatives.
  • Relevant work experience in banking, finance, or IT is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish and Finnish is a plus.

On top of this, you have a strong technical interest and understanding.

Location and Employment

Location: Mariehamn, Turku, Helsinki or Stockholm.

Employment type: Full-time.

Start date: Immediate. Your onboarding will take place at the HQ in Mariehamn for approximately one week.

Additional information: Since the teams are distributed across different locations, this role involves travel to the other offices in Mariehamn, Turku, Helsinki or Stockholm.
