Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead Technician for our client’s subsidiary, Stadler Service Finland Oy, in Pieksämäki to handle the commissioning of new diesel locomotives and their warranty maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise onsite activities as a Team Lead Technician, coordinating commissioning and installation of new locomotive equipment and conducting warranty maintenance on locomotives in service.
  • Act as a link between internal stakeholders and report on progress of tasks.
  • Lead a small onsite team in accordance with guidelines from the Warranty Coordinator.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the role.
  • Travel within the Central Finland region for warranty service tasks and occasional training days.
Qualifications
  • Background in electrical engineering (electrician, electrical engineer, or technician).
  • Prior experience in demanding installation work and in supervisory roles.
  • Previous work experience in the railway industry is an advantage.
  • Basic IT skills; strong written and spoken proficiency in Finnish and English.
  • Motivated, proactive, eager-to-learn, technically minded; customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
