We are looking for a Team Lead Technician for our client's subsidiary, Stadler Service Finland Oy, in Pieksämäki to handle the commissioning of new diesel locomotives and their warranty maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • As a Team Lead Technician, you will be responsible for the commissioning and installation of new locomotive equipment as well as performing warranty maintenance on locomotives already in service.
  • You will act as a link between internal stakeholders and be responsible for reporting on the progress of tasks.
  • You will also lead a small team onsite in accordance with the guidelines and directions from the Warranty Coordinator.
  • The main location for the position is the maintenance depot in Pieksämäki, but travel in the Central Finland region is required, especially for warranty service tasks and occasional training days.
Requirements
  • Background in electrical engineering (such as an electrician, electrical engineer, or technician).
  • Prior experience in demanding installation work and in supervisory roles.
  • Previous work experience in the railway industry is considered an advantage.
  • Basic IT skills and strong written and spoken proficiency in both Finnish and English.
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager-to-learn with a technical mindset.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive and constructive interpersonal approach.
  • Willing to handle administrative duties in addition to practical installation work.
