Job summary

Orion Corporation in Turku is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Tablet Manufacturing Department. You will lead a team of about 12 production professionals, ensuring safety, quality and on-time execution of production plans across mass preparation, tableting and coating.

This role operates on a three-shift schedule, offering opportunities to drive continuous improvements, participate in safety and quality audits, and collaborate with specialists and fellow supervisors to navigate day-to-day

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in production environments preferred.
• Ability to work in shifts with rotating schedules.
• Excellent Finnish language skills; English is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP practices and LEAN manufacturing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to meet shift goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a team of about 12 production employees, ensuring wellbeing, performance and growth.
• Communicate production targets and keep stakeholders informed about shift activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity using Lean principles.
• Handle deviations with initial reporting and corrective actions; promote a safety culture.
