Job summary

Orion Pharma in Turku is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Tablet Manufacturing Department on a permanent basis. You will lead a team of about 12 professionals, overseeing mass preparation, tableting and coating processes on a three-shift schedule.

You will drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements, participate in audits, and collaborate with specialists across departments. Fluent Finnish is required; English knowledge and GMP/LEAN experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a production setting.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical production environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in shifts (day, two-shift, or three-shift).
• Excellent proficiency in Finnish; working language is Finnish.
• Knowledge of English and GMP/LEAN practices are advantageous.

• Lead production operations to achieve shift goals with standardized work.
• Manage and develop a team of about 12 employees; support wellbeing and growth.
• Communicate targets and keep stakeholders informed about shift activities.
• Drive continuous safety, quality and productivity improvements using Lean.
