Bosch develops and markets key technologies in consumer electronics – micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS), solutions and systems for smartphone applications, tablets, video game consoles, wearables, and the Internet of things. The sensors enable devices to recognize their surroundings and to transmit the data collected. MEMS are therefore part of the foundation for a networked world.

We are seeking an experienced verification expert for embedded systems in our smart sensors.

Responsibilities:

  • Create verification environments for top-level models of HW/SW smart sensor systems including signal processing.
  • Build interfaces for the next generation of smartphones, wearables, and IoT devices. Improve design-flow with state-of-the-art tool chains.
  • Define a system verification concept, align on a verification reuse concept with ASIC verification teams, and implement tests at system level.
  • Explore new system verification technologies, set up system verification plans, and define and implement verification sub-tasks.
  • Deploy the latest system verification technologies with an international team to create customer benefits and ensure product presence in high-volume consumer electronics.

Ideal candidate personality and skills:

  • Convincing ideas and a positive team player attitude.
  • High level of interdisciplinary teamwork, customer orientation, creative drive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Solid industry experience or PhD with deep understanding of state-of-the-art verification technologies for embedded systems; sensor experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in verifying system models; strong analytical and structured approach.
  • Profound knowledge of UVM, and proven experience in Specman e, SystemVerilog, or UVM-SystemC. Knowledge of C++, VHDL, SystemC/TLM, and Python is advantageous.
  • Proficient English language skills.
  • Master's or equivalent degree in computer science, electronic engineering, physics, or similar major.
