INFICON Aaland in Mariehamn (Åland, Finland) seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier management and continuous improvement with the incoming goods inspection team. The role collaborates with INFICON Group sites in Liechtenstein, Germany and the USA to ensure group-wide quality standards.

Key duties include monitoring supplier data, managing qualification cycles, leading 8D problem solving, and ensuring compliance with RoHS, REACH and ethics policies, while supporting overall quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in similar roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Background in quality assurance work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
• Structured and self-motivated with the ability to drive and coordinate improvement initiatives from start to finish.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.

INFICON Aaland is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality & Sustainability department. Please note that the position is based in Mariehamn (Åland, Finland) and requires good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Your Role

As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead supplier management (complaints) in close collaboration with our incoming goods inspection team in Mariehamn. You will also work with colleagues across the INFICON Group in Liechtenstein, Germany, and the USA to ensure our processes align with the Group's unified standards.
