Job summary

EG Finland, part of EG A/S, is seeking a student marketing intern in Espoo to support AI search optimization, content updates, and social campaigns. You’ll work with a Nordic/Finland team on real projects and campaigns while balancing studies.

You'll gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix, mentorship from a seasoned team, and flexible hours (~15h/week) with occasional travel to events in Tampere and Jyväskylä.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• Some prior marketing experience (internship, coursework, student org) is a plus.
• Strong learning agility and ability to pick up new tools quickly.
• Proficiency in English and Finnish (written and spoken).
• Able to commit approximately 15 hours per week and flexible around studies.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Tampere and Jyväskylä.

EG Finland is part of EG A/S, which provides market-leading vertical software in the Nordics & UK. Across the Nordics, the marketing function is around 20 people, so you'll be part of a larger Nordic marketing community even while working closely with a small, hands-on local team.

As Part of the department

Your first quarter will center on a focused, forward-looking project: AI search optimization. Search behavior has genuinely shifted. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode now shape a large share of queries, and tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot have become everyday starting points for B2B research. You'll help us understand how our brand and products are being surfaced (or missed) across these different platforms, each of which pulls from different sources and favors different content structures, and support testing and restructuring content so AI models can parse, trust, and cite it. This sits within a broader, ongoing focus area for us, evolving our marketing processes and ways of working alongside AI, so you'll get a real front-row seat to work that's actively shaping how we operate, not just a one-off task.

As our student worker, you support the team's specialists in their day-to-day work. Some tasks recur every week – scheduling social posts, updating web pages, preparing campaign materials – while others follow the campaign calendar. You get real tasks with real deadlines, a proper introduction, and colleagues who are easy to ask.

Your task: Research, Create and Amplify

Product marketing and AI search optimization

• Support research into how our products and content perform in AI-driven search and help test and refine content accordingly.
• Keep product sheets, presentations, and sales materials up to date with new features and pricing.
• Assist with competitors, market research, and keyword research.

Content and social media

• Schedule and publish approved posts on our LinkedIn channel and help create simple graphics or short video clips.
• Publish articles and update pages in our CMS.
• Support light writing and design for ads across social media and search engines.

Events and webinars

• Help prepare and run webinars: registrations, reminders, technical set-up and follow-up.
• Assist with day-of-logistics (e.g. platform setup, run-of-show support).
• Support customer events with logistics, materials, and lists.

Team support

• Support execution of lead generation campaigns across paid, social, webinars, events and website channels.
• Support targeted ABM initiatives towards selected key accounts.
• Assist with campaign setup and email flows in marketing automation tools.
• Assist with proofreading and light translation between Finnish and English.
• Other practical tasks as needed.

You are the ideal candidate if you

• Are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• Have some prior experience with marketing (internship, coursework, student organization, and personal projects) is a plus.
• Have strong learning agility, comfortable picking up new tools and ways of working quickly and asking questions when needed.
• Are positive, proactive and genuine interest in B2B marketing and SaaS.
• Have good written and spoken English and Finnish.
• Are comfortable working with structure and templates, while also bringing your own ideas.
• Have basic familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn, email automation (Salesforce) and CMS marketing platforms, and design tools (e.g. Canva) is a bonus. Willingness to learn these is what matters most.
• Are able to commit to approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around studies.
• Are willing to travel occasionally to Tampere and Jyväskylä (e.g. for team meetings, webinar arrangements, events).
