Job summary

Metso in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to strengthen the Hydrometallurgy Sourcing Team. You will develop a cost-competitive supplier base, lead RFQ processes, and collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering and R&D to enable profitable project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or another relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, or related function.
Experience in project-driven environments and supporting large-scale project execution.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Act as procurement lead for solution sales opportunities in collaboration with sales and regional hubs.
Lead RFQ processes for third-party equipment during proposal phases and ensure competitive pricing.
Define and execute sourcing strategies for third-party equipment and translate into procurement roadmaps.
Own supplier performance management across cost, quality, delivery and sustainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project readiness and successful delivery.
