Job summary

Chip City is seeking a Store Manager to lead the guest experience and daily store operations. You will mentor Cookie Crew Members, uphold brand standards, and foster a collaborative culture focused on quality and customer service.

The role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and strong teamwork to ensure memorable visits for guests. You’ll drive sales, manage staffing and scheduling, and ensure all safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed in a fast-paced bakery

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in food service, retail or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, motivation, coaching, and leading by example.
• Excellent, clear and friendly communication; solution oriented.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Capable of juggling multiple tasks with accuracy under pressure.
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic reporting tools.
• Passion for creating memorable, customer-focused experiences.
• Willingness to obtain a Food Protection Certification where required.
• Completed training programs to uphold Chip City standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a customer-first mindset to ensure warm, memorable guest interactions.
• Recruit, train, coach, and inspire Cookie Crew Members to deliver great experiences.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth opening, midday, and closing routines.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation of cookies and beverages.
• Drive sales through promotional initiatives and KPI monitoring.
• Build effective weekly schedules and manage shift coverage.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and waste control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, cash handling, and safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with leadership and the team to uphold standards.
