Job summary
Tampere University in Finland seeks a Staff Scientist to support autonomous and electrified mobile machines research at Hervanta Campus, developing and maintaining a world-class infrastructure. The role includes technical support, safety oversight and supervising bachelor and master theses.
The successful candidate will collaborate with robotics groups, support software/hardware engineering practices and contribute to laboratory development and public demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with robotics, sensing, and modern computing.
- Expertise in hardware and software engineering and embedded systems.
- Experience with lab research and mobile work machine equipment.
- Safety in laboratories and teaching experience is a plus.
- Excellent English presentation, communication and documentation.
