Job summary

Wolt is looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer to help shape the mobile experience across our retail apps. This role is primarily iOS-focused, with strong Android collaboration and multi-team ownership in a complex, fast-moving environment.

You will lead cross‑team initiatives, drive native iOS and Android work, advance server‑driven UI, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and champion AI‑enabled tooling to move fast without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in mobile development and the iOS ecosystem.
Experience at Staff Engineer level or equivalent scope.
Experience on large-scale native B2C apps with multi-team ownership.
Pragmatic, impact-oriented mindset with execution in fast-changing env.
Ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication.
Experience mentoring engineers.
Practical AI experience in engineering toolkit.
Familiar with Android is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-team initiatives through design, implementation, launch, and ownership.
Drive native iOS and Android initiatives within shared apps.
Evolve server-driven UI approach and design configurable views.
Establish engineering standards across architecture, testing, releases, observability, and incidents.
Champion AI-enabled tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
Communicate complex technical decisions with estimates and trade-offs.
Mentor engineers and uphold engineering culture across teams.
