Job summary

Fastems is seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented Entry Level Staff Accountant to join the team. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate eager to apply academic knowledge in practice.

You will work closely with the local Head of Finance and our international finance team, receiving hands‑on mentorship while supporting daily financial operations, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of basic GAAP principles and general accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; willingness to learn accounting software.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Proactive, curious, and motivated to learn in a collaborative small‑company environment.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier AP invoices and AR customer invoicing in a timely manner.
• Monitor Aged Receivable reports and perform routine follow‑ups to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with Month‑end closing procedures, GL journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support the team with external audits, financial record keeping, and documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve invoicing, expense, or vendor inquiries and/or issues.
• Ensure all HQ deadlines are met throughout the month/year.
