Job summary

Kamux Suomi Oy is seeking a commercially driven, results-oriented Chief Sourcing Officer to lead Group-wide vehicle sourcing and supplier partnerships. This executive will shape international sourcing strategy, optimize profitability, and improve working capital through efficient purchasing and faster inventory turnover.

The role reports to the Group CEO and requires a strong track record in strategic sourcing, leadership, and complex negotiations across Nordic markets.

Qualifications

• At least ten years in strategic sourcing or related commercial roles.
• Experience in automotive retail, leasing, finance or mobility services.
• Proven leadership, profitability improvement and change delivery.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel.

International Commercial Leadership | Strategic Sourcing | Profitable Growth

Location: Sweden or Finland

Are you ready to lead an international sourcing organisation where commercial judgement, strategic thinking and data-driven decisions make a measurable difference?

Kamux is seeking a commercially driven, results-oriented Chief Sourcing Officer to lead Group-wide vehicle sourcing, strategic supplier relationships and the development of efficient, profitable vehicle flows. This is a key Group Management Team position reporting directly to the Group CEO.

The opportunity

As Chief Sourcing Officer, you will define and execute Kamux’s international used-car sourcing strategy. Your mission is to secure a competitive vehicle offering, strengthen profitability and optimise working capital through effective purchasing, faster inventory turnover and high-performing supplier partnerships.

A central objective is to achieve ten inventory turns per year while improving return on invested capital. You will lead the purchasing organisations in Finland and Sweden and collaborate closely with country management, Sales, Finance and other Group functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group sourcing strategy across consumer, trade-in, B2B and international channels.
• Build strategic relationships with leasing and finance companies, rental operators, manufacturers and other major vehicle suppliers.
• Negotiate international agreements covering pricing, volumes, quality, delivery and commercial risk.
• Optimise purchasing prices, total margins, inventory mix, turnover and capital employed.
• Improve vehicle flows, logistics, reconditioning and common aftersales processes.
• Lead and develop an international organisation with clear accountability, performance metrics and consistent ways of working.
• Drive the adoption of data analytics and AI-enabled decision support in sourcing.

AI and digital transformation

Kamux sees opportunities to improve commercial decisions through advanced analytics, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will help define and realise the business value of solutions supporting vehicle valuation, demand forecasting, purchasing prices, sourcing channel selection and inventory optimisation.

You do not need to be a technical specialist. What matters is the ability to identify commercially valuable use cases, work effectively with technology teams and translate insights into measurable results.

Your background

• Typically at least ten years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, automotive retail, leasing, finance, mobility services or another capital-intensive commercial business.
• A strong record of business leadership, people management, profitability improvement and change delivery.
• Sound understanding of working capital, inventory turnover, margins and financial risk.
• Experience in complex negotiations and building senior-level commercial relationships.
• Ability to combine strategic perspective with disciplined operational execution.
• Relevant higher education or equivalent expertise, fluent English and willingness to travel.

International or matrix-organisation experience is particularly valuable. Experience in used-car retail, vehicle valuation or cross-border vehicle trading is an advantage.
