Job summary

EnergyHub in Helsinki, Finland, invites a Software Engineer to join Kapacity.io and help build the core optimization software for virtual power plants. You will design, implement, and maintain systems that connect devices and optimize energy usage, working closely with product and sales teams.

The role requires 2+ years of production software experience, proficiency in TS/JS, Go and Python, and strong English communication. Helsinki office presence is expected with occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production software development experience.
• Experience with UI/UX development.
• Proficiency in Typescript and Javascript; Go, Python, Docker, AWS desirable.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software at the core of Kapacity.io’s optimization products.
• Become a core contributor to the codebase and participate in planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with sales to translate business needs into viable technical solutions.
