Job summary

Remion in Tampere is seeking an embedded software developer for gateway systems. You will build data collection pipelines, integrating customer requirements to deliver reliable software for industrial IoT.

There’s plenty to do, so we’re looking for a software developer for embedded/gateway systems to join our team. You’ll be working on customer projects directly with our clients. You develop data collection systems that gather and process large amounts of data from thousands of devices and transform the data into valuable information for our customers.

About the role

As a Developer, your primary goal is to create customer-driven features for heavy machinery and industrial solutions. You implement specifications developed in close collaboration with customers, ensuring system functionality, reliability, and optimization. You are responsible for solving technical challenges and delivering high-quality development, maintenance, and consulting services tailored to customer needs.

Additionally, you work closely with customers to troubleshoot technical issues and turn their requirements into practical, efficient solutions.

We aim to work in an AI-assisted development model where intelligent agents are key part of software development process. Developers act as architects, supervisors, and quality owners.

You have worked in similar positions and have proven successes. Additionally, knowledge of heavy machinery or industrial environments and/or the Industrial IoT is a familiar concept to you. Knowledge of the engineering industry is considered an advantage.
