Job summary

Lapland Staff is seeking sled dog guides for the winter season 2026–2027 at Lapland Husky Safaris Luosto. You will care for the dogs, perform kennel duties, guide safaris and assist with route maintenance in a demanding outdoor environment.

Applicants should be physically fit, flexible and customer-focused. English fluency is required; French knowledge is a plus. A Class B driving license and prior guiding or winter outdoor experience are advantageous. Accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with dogs and guiding winter activities is a plus.
• Class B driving license is required; snowmobile experience is advantageous.
• Good physical condition and flexibility for outdoor work in all weather.
• Prior guide work, outdoor winter experience, and dog handling knowledge are beneficial.
