Hitachi Energy is seeking an SLA Manager for Grid Automation in Vaasa or Tampere, Finland. You will lead project teams delivering SCADA/DMS and RTU solutions for domestic and global customers, ensuring alignment with technical, safety, quality, and financial targets.

The role offers growth toward senior positions or roles in sales or general management, with opportunities to work with both domestic and global customers across utilities, industry, transportation and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing projects and leading teams in a technical environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Finnish and English for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team with clear guidelines, tasks and milestones.
• Manage all aspects of the project to meet customer requirements and targets.
• Oversee project plan development related to scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
• Monitor each stage to ensure cost control, efficiency, risk management and HS&E compliance.
• Identify and address project risks and share lessons learned.
• Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers in collaboration with Supply Chain and Legal.
• Ensure delivery and compliance with contract requirements and build strong customer relationships.

Job description

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Service Level Agreement (SLA) Manager at Grid Automation business in Vaasa or Tampere, Finland. You will be working on domestic and global projects that typically consist of SCADA/DMS and RTU deliveries to end customers. This is a role for someone who has good leadership and management skills as well as a strong “can-do” mindset. You will successfully secure that the team can plan, execute and complete the projects to our customers globally.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Leading the project team with clear guidelines, tasks and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
• Managing all aspects of the project to agreed-upon customer requirements and ensuring all technical, safety, quality and financial targets are met.
• Overseeing the development of project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Monitoring each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, risk management and health, safety and the environment.
• Identifying, analyzing and addressing project risks, with the regular sharing of lessons learned.
• Coordinating contract negotiation and claims with customers, in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Legal functions.
• Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements. Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• Project Management certification is considered as a benefit
• Experience in SAP, MS Office and MS Project
• Good communication skills in Finnish and in English
• Willingness to work in flexible project team
