Job summary

NorthFox Technologies is expanding its specialist commissioning and validation team and is seeking a Skilled Worker to support the delivery of high-profile data centre and critical infrastructure projects.

As a General Construction operative, you will assist with Cx tests, install Aux equipment, and work alongside skilled trades to support the Cx process. You will promote safety on site, communicate clearly, and be willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working in a similar role.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical install to a high standard using drawings, standard operating procedures, and verbal instructions
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and cleanliness while meeting required time scales
• Achieve daily targets through effective teamwork and support production ramps to deliver customer requirements on time
• Ensure all parts used are of the correct quality and fitted correctly
• Take direction from Electrical Technician & Cx team on any issues affecting current requirements and outputs
• Maintain work areas and equipment in accordance with project requirements, observing all safety rules and procedures
• Support the engineering team in validating new assembly procedures and equipment
• Test install ensuring high standards to meet customer requirements
• Perform other duties as required

Overview Of Position

As a General Construction operative and work on projects setting up tests for Cx teams & install of Aux equipment. Work alongside skilled tradespeople and aid them in every aspect of the Cx process.

• Act promptly on items of work indicated by the Cx team
• Work with other team members to complete the Cx setup
• Work in a safe communicative manner within your team
• Cooperate with the other Cx team members to complete the project as efficiently as possible
