Job summary

Salon Kaupunki is hiring a part-time teaching assistant for Ollikkalan school in Salo, Finland. The role is 25 hours per week, focusing on supporting pupils and guiding learning in a sixth grade special class.

Qualifications

• Requires qualification as a school assistant or equivalent in care, youth or education sector.
• Strong adaptability and collaboration and group-management skills are required.
• Experience working with children of different ages and pupils requiring different kinds of support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ upbringing as part of their education.
• Guide learning in the sixth grade special class.
• Participate in planning guidance for student wellbeing with a partner.
• Implement class activities together with other teaching staff.
