Job summary

Everllence Finland in Helsinki is seeking a Site Commissioning Engineer to bring large-scale energy projects to life. You will coordinate contractors, interfaces with customers and project management, and ensure successful handover.

You will travel extensively to customer sites worldwide, performing commissioning of engines and power plant systems, and documenting results. The role offers an international, collaborative environment and opportunities to grow within a global engineering group.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or several years of professional experience.
• Experience in commissioning power plants, engines or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel internationally for assignments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• English spoken and written; other languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for commissioning activities from delivery projects to turnkey plants.
• Commission engines for power plant applications including their control.
• Commission power plant systems and components (cooling, lube oil, fuel).
• Coordinate commissioning activities with customers, partners or suppliers.
• Document commissioning work and prepare reports.
• Carry out functional tests per description.
• Communicate with internal and external project participants.

Do you want to see the world while bringing large-scale energy projects to life? As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of international power plant projects, turning engineering plans into fully operational facilities and making a tangible impact from day one.

You will coordinate contractors and site activities, manage interfaces with customers and project management, and ensure successful handover of the plant.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for commissioning activities starting with delivery projects up to turnkey power plants
• Commissioning of engines for power plant applications including their control: Liquid fuel engines / gas engines / dual fuel engines
• Commissioning of power plant systems and their components: e.g. cooling systems / lube oil systems / fuel supply etc.
• Commissioning of projects in the field of new technologies e.g. large industrial heat pumps
• Coordination of commissioning activities with customer, partner or supplier
• Documentation of commissioning work and preparation of reports
• Carrying out functional tests according to functional description
• Use of own skills and continuous development of professional and personal competencies
• Communication with internal and external project participants

• English spoken and written, additional foreign languages are welcome

As a Site Commissioning Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on international projects, with extensive travel and long-term assignments, spending more than 180 days per year at customer sites worldwide.
