Job summary

NestAI in Europe is building NestOS, a modular platform for defence simulations. We seek a Simulation Chapter Lead to steer a team of simulation, graphics and rendering engineers, own the digital twin roadmap, and ensure real-time fidelity and reliability for unmanned systems.

You will mentor engineers, balance capacity, and collaborate with product teams to drive performance engineering. The role focuses on scaling multi‑UxV simulations across terrains and delivering repeatable test

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams and mentoring.
• Strong background in real-time 3D and game-engine development (Unreal Engine 5 ideal).
• Experience with simulation, computer graphics or rendering and solid C++ skills.
• Experience modelling real-world physics, environments, materials, and sensor/camera simulation.
• Experience building scalable simulation or rendering systems with performance focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder alignment skills; strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Grow, mentor and coach a team of simulation and rendering engineers.
• Own the technical direction of the Unreal Engine 5 digital twin and related fidelity.
• Deliver reliable virtual test environments as part of the development loop.
• Lead performance engineering to scale multi‑UxV fleets and terrains.
• Collaborate with teams to align simulation work with platform direction.
• Plan the chapter's roadmap and balance capacity across requests.
