Job summary

NestAI is building the Simulation Chapter, leading a team of simulation and rendering engineers to develop a digital twin using Unreal Engine 5. The role focuses on real-time rendering, sensor modelling, and scalable performance to support autonomous systems testing.

You will mentor engineers, own the technical direction of the digital twin, and ensure reliable, reproducible virtual test environments that integrate into the development loop.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong background in real-time 3D and game-engine development (Unreal Engine 5 ideal).
• Experience with sensor modelling and physics-based simulations.
• Ability to align engineers and stakeholders around a shared roadmap.
• Strategic thinking with focus on performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Grow, mentor and coach a team of simulation and rendering engineers.
• Own the technical direction of the Unreal Engine 5 digital twin.
• Deliver reliable virtual test environments into the development loop.
• Drive scale and performance for multi‑UxV fleets and terrains.
• Collaborate with teams to align strategy and platform direction.
• Plan the chapter's roadmap and balance resource allocation.
