Job summary

Nordex Finland is expanding its team of Service Technicians, stationed at the Rajamäenkylä service point. You will identify faults, perform maintenance, and work with a skilled team to keep wind turbines running efficiently.

English is the primary communication language for trainings and instructions. The role offers training, competitive on-site work, and opportunities for professional development within a growing wind energy company.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical background in electrical or mechanical fields is required or highly valued.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities are essential for turbine service.
• Experience with wind turbines is considered a definite advantage.
• Good command of English for instructions, trainings and communication.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous simple repairs of turbines and troubleshooting faults.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections with subcontractors.
• Repair or exchange main turbine components as needed.
• Check inventory and manage on-site material.
• Follow Health & Safety instructions and guidelines.

Job description

Nordex Finland is expanding its team of Service Technicians. You will be stationed at theRajamäenkylä service point, working alongside a team of skilled professionals. Your primary duties will include identifying and resolving faults and performing maintenance on wind turbines. Join us in our mission to create a greener future for all!

As a Service Technician, you can expect to work Monday through Friday with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00PM. The salary range for this position is 3300 - 3500 €/month depending on your experience. Overtime is compensated according to the collective agreement. Additionally, there may be weekends where you will be required to work on-call, which will be also be compensated. Please note that this position does not involve any rotation.

YOUR TASKS:

• Autonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors
• Repair or exchange main components
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site
• Follow all Health & Safety related instructions and guidelines

YOUR PROFILE:

• You have a vocational education in electrical, mechanical or similar fields
• We value a solution-oriented and analytical mindset in our Service Technicians
• Wind turbine experience is a definite advantage
• Good English communication skills are a must in this job, as most of our instructions, trainings and internal communications are in English
• Good computer skills are also an advantage
• A good physical condition is a requirement for the job, so you need to pass a medical check prior to starting with us
• You have a valid driver's license
