Job summary

VTT in Espoo seeks a Research Scientist/Engineer with a strong background in test setups and verification of integrated circuits. You’ll design and implement test environments for array-based sensors, and perform characterization of fabricated chips.

We value hands-on experience, collaboration across experts, and the ability to contribute from concept to implementation while maintaining high energy efficiency and performance goals. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• At least BSc in electronics (MSc preferred).
• Hands-on experience in designing automated test setups and verification measurements of integrated circuits.
• Experience in sensor readout/control/signal processing and MCU programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building test setups for array-based sensors
• Plan and conduct characterization of the fabricated chips
• Documentation of setups, verification procedures, and test measurements
• Collaboration with other experts at VTT as well as with external partners
• Active contribution to project planning, preparation, and implementation
