ŌURA in Finland seeks a Senior ML & Biosignal Scientist to own the algorithm lifecycle from physiology background to production. You will turn multimodal biosignals (PPG, motion, temperature) into actionable health insights, collaborating with hardware, firmware, software and science teams.

The role is hybrid and based in Helsinki or Oulu. Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in ML and biosignal analysis, PyTorch, and a track record of deploying models in production.

Formación

• 5-7+ years hands-on ML and biosignal processing experience.
• Expertise with PyTorch and scientific computing stack.
• Domain knowledge of wearable biosignals and physiological systems.
• Experience moving ML models from research to production in cloud environments.
• Master's or PhD in CS/ML/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Comfortable in an agile, high-autonomy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Take full technical ownership of the algorithm lifecycle from signal processing to model deployment.
• Develop and deploy state-of-the-art ML algorithms (Transformers, RNNs, probabilistic models).
• Work with large-scale cloud datasets and prototype hardware testing setups.
• Translate results into strategies and narratives for senior leadership to guide product roadmap.
