Job summary

Vitec Tietomitta Oy is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to embed quality in system design for a cloud-native SaaS platform built with React/Next.js, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, running on Kubernetes. The role combines hands-on testing with strategic shaping of automation maturity across the platform.

Qualifications

• Strong Python/JS/TS background in automation with hands-on Playwright experience.
• Experience testing modern React-based web applications with Material UI or similar.
• Strong API and service testing experience; familiarity with FastAPI-style architectures is a plus.
• Integration testing against PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, and systems on Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) plus logs, metrics, tracing, and instrumentation.
