Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy seeks an experienced Senior T24 Architect to shape the evolution of a large Core Banking environment using Temenos T24/Transact. You will define target-state architecture and lead cross-market delivery, aligning business capabilities with technology strategy.

You will mentor architects and engineers, drive API-first, event-driven patterns and ensure availability, security and resilience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of Core Banking processes and integration patterns.
• Proven track record leading large-scale transformations across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the architecture roadmap for Temenos T24 and surrounding Core Banking capabilities, defining target-state architecture, principles and standards in line with business and technology strategy
• Provide end-to-end architectural leadership across complex initiatives, ensuring consistency, scalability and sustainability of the Core Banking landscape
• Translate business requirements into robust, implementable solutions, including integrations between Core Banking and payments, digital channels, lending, deposits, customer management and data platforms
• Identify interfaces, data flows and dependencies across applications, infrastructure and external services
• Evaluate architectural alternatives and make clear trade-offs between business value, delivery risk and technical complexity
• Drive modernisation and simplification of the Core Banking ecosystem, promoting API-first, event-driven and cloud-enabled patterns where appropriate
• Improve platform maintainability, testability and operability, and identify opportunities for reuse, automation and standardisation across markets and delivery teams
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for availability, security, performance, scalability, resilience and operability
• Guide architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations, and maintain the architectural runway for sustainable delivery
• Assess architectural risks, technical debt and lifecycle concerns, and guide proportionate remediation
• Act as a trusted advisor for strategic Core Banking initiatives and technology investment decisions, communicating complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor architects and engineers, fostering collaboration and accountable decision-making within teams

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior T24 Architect to shape the evolution of a large and complex Core Banking environment. You will define and guide the architecture of the Temenos T24 landscape, making sure that business capabilities, technology platforms and long-term strategic goals stay aligned.

You will work with business stakeholders, engineers, architects and external partners across multiple markets, providing architectural leadership over several initiatives and delivery streams. Your goal is to protect the stability and resilience of business-critical banking services while enabling platform modernisation and simplification.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Significant experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture, solution design or senior engineering roles
• Deep understanding of Core Banking processes, platform capabilities and integration dependencies
• Proven record of leading architecture for large-scale transformation, migration or modernisation initiatives
• Experience working across multiple teams, products or markets in a complex enterprise environment
• Banking experience involving demanding availability, security, resilience and regulatory requirements

Allocation:

• Allocation: 100 %
• Assignment start date: 1.10.2026
• Assignment end date: 31.3.2027, possible extension
• Location: Helsinki, Stockholm or Copenhagen (2-3 days at the office)
• Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
