IONCOR is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join the procurement team in Finland. You will ensure materials and components meet quality standards and support production lines with audits, APQP-based supplier development, and PPAP activities.

On-site role in Salo with travel up to ~30%. Collaboration with central teams and strong focus on quality improvements and supplier performance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (procurement or supply chain).
• Experience with SAP, Minitab or similar systems.
• Proficiency in 8D, A3 and root-cause analysis.
• Experience in supplier quality or quality management in automotive industry; APQP knowledge.
• Auditor certification (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or VDA 6.3) and knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Fluent spoken and written English; Finnish or German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier quality targets for assigned components, including PPM levels and claims.
• Lead supplier audits to assess compliance with applicable quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop assigned suppliers during new projects using APQP; oversee serial production suppliers at the plant.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies to investigate and resolve supplier issues.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams as requested.
• Support plant audits by preparing and representing Supplier Quality during audits.
• Support incoming inspection activities by ensuring components are inspected per instructions and equipment is available.
• Participate in various phases of new projects to support suppliers during development.
