Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is supporting a confidential client on a major hyperscale data centre in Finland. We seek an experienced Substation Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination and execution of substation and electrical infrastructure works, delivering safely, on programme and to budget.

You will collaborate with design teams, contractors, utility providers and stakeholders through construction, testing, energisation and handover, ensuring quality and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex HV substations or major power distribution projects.
• Strong project management across programme, cost, risk and quality.
• Ability to lead contractors and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing construction activities and technical interfaces.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning and energisation processes.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of the substation package from pre-construction to handover.
• Develop schedules, milestones and deliverables aligned with the data centre programme.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across civil, structural, electrical and design.
• Oversee construction activities ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate interfaces between substation works and data centre electrical infra.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
