Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a self-motivated senior software engineer to drive development, performance and scalability of the NVIDIA Aerial CUDA Accelerated RAN platform for 5G/6G networks. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology on NVIDIA CPU/GPU/DPU based systems and advance the field of software-defined digital signal processing.

As an NVIDIAN, you’ll contribute to a diverse environment and help push the boundaries of cloud-native RAN.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work-related industry experience in software development, systems engineering.
• MS/PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Telecommunications (or equivalent).
• Experience with PHY/MAC or baseband software in C/C++.
• Experience with LTE/5G MAC and PHY from systems and low-level viewpoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of end-to-end reference system stack for 5G/6G baseband.
• Optimize CPU, GPU and NIC sub-systems for low latency and maximum throughput.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Develop software, implementing new baseband functions in C/C++/Python/CUDA on a GPU platform.
• Support system integration, performance testing, system demonstration and lab trials for end-to-end system.
• Be a technical bridge between engineering team and partners/customers engineering team.
• Help in implementing missing features to unblock progress at customers/partners and in benchmarking and develop/evaluate test tools for Aerial SDK evaluation.]
