Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead SAP projects of varying size and complexity, from focused deliveries to major transformations. You will work with customers and expert teams to balance delivery, scope and business goals.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, ownership of financials and scope, and enable real business outcomes through SAP while collaborating with sales and pre-sales to identify opportunities.

We’re looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager to join Vincit and take ownership of SAP projects of varying size and complexity, from more focused deliveries to larger business transformations.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for making sure projects move forward smoothly, while working closely with customers and expert teams to balance delivery, scope, and business goals.

You know you’ve succeeded when projects are delivered as planned, stakeholders are aligned, and the work creates real value for the customer – whether it’s through a smaller improvement or a larger transformation.

What is the job like, really?

Our SAP customer portfolio is broad and diverse, and the work varies from more focused implementations to larger transformation initiatives. You’ll work in both multi-vendor environments and projects where Vincit takes full delivery responsibility.

Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Leading SAP projects end-to-end: You take ownership of delivery, ensuring projects stay on track in terms of scope, timeline, and quality.

Owning financials and scope: You take responsibility for project profitability, budgeting, and scope management.

Driving business transformation: You don’t just deliver systems, you help customers implement real business changes through SAP.

Leading teams and stakeholders: You lead cross-functional teams and work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Supporting sales and pre-sales: You act as an expert in sales cases, helping shape solutions and identify new opportunities.

What are we looking for?

You’ll succeed in this role if you’re able to see the bigger picture and take ownership not only of delivery but also of business outcomes.

You’re comfortable leading complex projects where expectations are high and things don’t always go as planned. You take responsibility for financials, scope, and team performance – and know how to balance all three.

Your background

Experience leading SAP projects, including large-scale business transformations

Experience delivering complex SAP solutions (e.g. S/4HANA)

Experience managing project financials, profitability, and scope

Ability to lead teams and stakeholders in demanding environments

Understanding of business processes and ability to identify new opportunities

Working proficiency in Finnish and English

It’s a strong plus if you have:

Experience in manufacturing or other industry domains

Experience with both core ERP and cloud-based SAP solutions

Project management certifications

Experience working in consultancy environments

Experience supporting sales or pre-sales activities
