Job summary

Jones Engineering seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with an electrical background for a major Data Centre project in Finland. You will support the construction team on QS functions, manage subcontractor accounts, and monitor commercial risk across multiple phases.

The role requires a minimum of six years post-qualification experience, strong IT and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a multi-functional team. Data Centre experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics.
• Electrical background is required for this role.
• Minimum 6+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Data Centre projects preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Team on all Quantity Surveying functions and contract obligations.
• Identify commercial risks and report to management.
• Prepare monthly progress applications with accurate remeasurements and variations.
• Manage procurement activity and subcontractor accounts through final accounts.
• Forecast turnover and project cash flow and provide reliable reporting.
