Job summary

Veikkaus is seeking a seasoned Sportsbook Pre-Match Manager to lead the pre-match trading team and own the pre-match offering across multiple sports. You will shape operating models, implement best practices, and drive competitiveness in-house.

Responsibilities include developing trading strategies, pricing, and margins while translating data into actionable decisions. You will collaborate with Risk, Product, BI, Technology, and Compliance to evolve Veikkaus'' sportsbook operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in sportsbook pre-match trading, odds compilation and market management across multiple sports.
• At least 5-7 years of experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of betting mathematics, pricing, margins, liabilities and market behaviour.
• Experience developing trading strategies and processes that improve the profitability and competitiveness of the pre-match offering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable trading decisions.
• Experience working with trading platforms, odds feeds and sportsbook management systems.
• Ability to lead change, develop people and establish best practices within a growing organization.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Risk Management, Product, Technology, BI and Compliance.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Fluency in English.
